1. Who We Are

TOwner ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application developed to help Tesla vehicle owners track charging costs, monitor vehicle statistics, and manage tax benefits. Our website is townerapp.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide the TOwner service:

• Account data: Email address and name provided during registration.
• Vehicle data: Vehicle identification number (VIN), battery level, range, and charging session history — retrieved via Tesla Fleet API with your explicit authorization.
• Charging session data: Start time, end time, energy added (kWh), and cost in local currency.
• Location data: Charging location coordinates — only if you explicitly opt in. You can withdraw this consent at any time from the app settings.
• Usage data: App interactions and crash reports used to improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to:

• Display your vehicle statistics and charging history within the app.
• Calculate charging costs in your local currency.
• Generate tax benefit reports for Colombian DIAN compliance (Law 1715/2014).
• Send you notifications you have explicitly enabled.
• Improve the reliability and performance of the app.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in Section 5.

4. Tesla Data and Authorization

TOwner accesses your Tesla vehicle data through the official Tesla Fleet API. Before any vehicle data is accessed, you will be presented with an authorization screen clearly describing what data we request and why. You may revoke this authorization at any time from your Tesla account settings at tesla.com/account.

TOwner complies with all requirements of the Tesla Fleet API Agreement, including data minimization, purpose limitation, and user consent requirements.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the app:

• Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure, hosted in AWS São Paulo)
• RevenueCat (subscription management — only subscription status, no vehicle data)

We do not share your vehicle data, charging history, or location with any other third party.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in South America (AWS São Paulo region). We implement the following security measures:

• Row-level security — your data is strictly isolated from other users.
• Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
• Tesla API tokens are stored encrypted and never exposed to client applications.

In the event of a security incident that may affect your personal data, we will notify you and relevant authorities within the timeframes required by applicable law.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights over your data:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. We will complete deletion within 30 days.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent: Revoke authorization for location data or Tesla API access at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@townerapp.com or use the "Delete Account" option within the app.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, non-identifiable aggregate statistics may be retained for service improvement purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

TOwner is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
